Cool Antarctica

Antarctica is the whitest, coldest, windiest and driest continent in the world. it is also a massive desert covered in snow and ice.

In Antarctica you will see animals like penguins, whales and seals.

l can see some white and some blue here and there. The flat sea ice goes for miles. Massive glaciers slowly flow down to the sea on the way.

In Antarctica you will have to have more than a 1 layer otherwise you will freeze like an ice block so it will be a good idea to where a couple of layers cause the coldest temperature ever recorded in Antarctica was 94.7C (-135.8F).

Antarctica is one of the biggest places on earth in diameter it is around 14,000,000 km 5,400,000 sq mi The largest iceberg ever measured is bigger than Jamaica: 11,000 sq km (4,200 sq mi). It broke away from Antarctica in 2000.

I like Antarctica cause of the Animals and I like the scenery.

Penguin Art

We have been learning about Antarctica over the past few weeks. We went to the Antarctica center for a school trip. We painter pictures of  penguins. First I carefully sketched my penguins. then I panted the black feathers. when that was dry I panted the orange feathers and beak. Lastly I panted the yellow feathers. I  had to make sure I panted the feathers to look like real feathers.

   

Fixed mindset and growth mindset

During power time we have been leaning about  growth mindset. We watch a short video about Luke had a fixed mindset. A fixed mindset is when you give and cannot do it. Yoda taught him how to growth  mindset. A growth mindset is when you can do it and ceep on trying. We talked what what we could say to ourselvesto change form a growth mindset. Here is my DLO.
