ANZAC Biscuits

Today we made ANZAC Biscuits. They have sugar,flour, oats and golden syrup, but on eggs so they do not go off. 

The Mums and wives and children made the Biscuits. Some were sent over to the soldiers and most of them were sold fetes to raise money for the war.  

They raised 6.5 million pounds for the New Zealand war effort.

Quaiden Blindfold peach writing

In literacy I have been learning about wow words.

I found getting blindfold was different putting a  blindfold on a touching things.



First Mrs McG put blindfolds on us and we had to use our senses,except sight to describe what was in the bowl.

Tangram reindeer

Today I had to make a reindeer it was fun. We had to cut out the reindeer and put it together and make a reindeer it was hard and easy. I have a picture to show you. It is could Tangram reindeer. I hope you like like.?

Learning about Christmas

WE are learning about Christmas traditions around the world. Today I learned to say 'god Yul' it means  Christmas but in Swedish and Boas 'Festtas' and it means  Christmas but in Portugese. In England they eat plum puddings.
